The Dunwoody Community Garden will receive a full orchard including fruit trees and berry bushes as a result of winning a nationwide contest sponsored by Edy’s Frozen Fruit Bars.
Join Dunwoody’s Mayor and representatives from the City Council at this ceremony which will include a presentation by Edy’s and the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation. Following the presentation, volunteers will begin to plant the orchard. Those wishing to volunteer should arrive by 9:30am.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided for the volunteers and free Frozen Fruit Bars at the event.

Brook Run Park, located in the Tilly Mill area, is Dunwoody's largest park. At 102 acres, it includes many amenities, including a dog park, community garden, veterans' memorial, pavilion, walking trails, multi-use fields, large playground, picnic area and a high-end skateboard park that includes two bowls.
