This year&rsquo\;s Gameboree them e will be "Honoring Chipper Jones" with Chipper as the special guest. Cu rrent and former Braves\, including Frank Wren\, will pay tribute to Chi pper and his Hall of Fame career. A gala reception\, silent auction and raffle of Braves memorabilia begins at 5:00 with the awards dinner and p rogram following at 6:30 PM.\n \;In addition to "Honoring Chipper Jo nes\," a number of awards will be given by the Braves 400 Fan Club and t he Atlanta Braves. The 2012 Metro Atlanta Player of the Year award will be presented to Matt Olson\, who attended Parkview High School. Kyle Far mer from the University of Georgia will receive the Jason Varitek Most O utstanding Scholar Athlete in Georgia award. Other 400 Fan Club awards i nclude the Luke Appling Nostalgia Award to former Braves pitcher Gene Ga rber and the Ivan Allen\, Jr. "Mr. Baseball" Award.\nThe Phil Niekro Col lege Scholarships will be awarded to Shorter University and Point Univer sity. Awards for outstanding performances by Braves minor leaguers in 20 12 will be presented to Todd Cunningham\, J.R. Graham\, Ernesto Mejia\, and Luis Salazar.\nAdmission is by advance reservation only. The final d eadline for purchase is January 20. No tickets will be sold at the door.
