presenting sponsor MINI USA will welcome over one thousand runners on F
ebruary 2nd at the seventh annual Tartan Trot 5K/10K held at the Church
 in Dunwoody\, Ga.\nThis one-of-a kind 5K/10K USATF Peachtree Qualifier r
ace features kilts\, bagpipes\, and baked goods for the winners. Runners
continue to consider the Tartan Trot a family-oriented favorite because
it features a one mile and tot trot event.&nbsp\;\nThis is a race that
continues long after the finish line has been crossed.&nbsp\; Funds rais
ed by the Tartan Trot are used for outreach in areas like Africa\, Hondu
ras\, Guatemala\, Mexico\, the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee and wi
th organizations such as Habitat for Humanity\, Stop Hunger Now\, North
 Fulton/DeKalb Family Promise\, local shelters\, and food banks.\nThe fir

&rdquo\; said Pastor Jason Whitener. &ldquo\;February 2nd is our annual
Tartan Trot race which raises money for charitable partners such as the
North Fulton/DeKalb Family Promises network -- that will host its first
guests at St. Luke&rsquo\;s on February 3rd .&rdquo\;\nFamily Promise Fi
ghts Homelessness... One Family at a Time!\nKicking off on February 3rd\
 , the North Fulton/DeKalb Family Promise organization\, a network of 11
congregations\, is dedicated to helping homeless children and their fami

nization works to provide the family the resources to help provide a mor
e stable foundation for their children.\nNot all participating congregat
ions have the financial resources to pay their portion of this amount\,
but really want to contribute their time and enthusiasm. The Tartan Trot
helps St. Luke's be an anchor&nbsp\;to get&nbsp\;Family Promise started
