It is the second southwestern-style restaurant to open in the Perimeter area in the last few months. in December.

Molly Parrish-Darby, spokesperson for Tin Lizzy’s, said the Perimeter location will hire around 65-70 hourly employees. According to the sign on the front of the location, the company will begin accepting applications on March 1.

Tin Lizzy's was started by a group of four friends who met at Florida State University. The owners are still heavily involved, according to a press release.

McKoski tries to visit each location at least once a day and owner John Piemonte has helped build the southwestern menu at the restaurant.

“I’m no chef, but I know what tastes good,” Piemonte said, in a press release. “I’ve learned that as long as it tastes great and the food is consistent every time, I can make the recipes as simple or as complicated as I want.”

The new location will include the original menu used at the current locations. The restaurant specializes in southwestern food, including guacamole and fish tacos, as well as drinks like margaritas and premium tequilas.

The Perimeter Tin Lizzy’s will be located in a 4,200-square-foot space, which will include several high-definition televisions and a full bar. There will also be a 90-seat outdoor patio.

The restaurant will be open on Sunday and Monday, 11:30 a.m. – midnight, and Tuesday through Saturday, 11:30 a.m. – 2 a.m., serving food until 11 p.m.
