Study: Dunwoody Is the Priciest Housing Market in the State
The average home in Dunwoody costs nearly $340,000 and the state average is $170,000.
Dunwoody is the most expensive housing market in Georgia, according to a story in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
The average four-bedroom, two-bedroom house costs an average of $339,835, according to recent data from Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC’s annual Home Listing Report.
College Park is the most affordable market in the state. The same size home is valued at $62,080, according to the report.

The average price for the four-bedroom, two-bath home in the state is $169,625. The national average is $292,152. Georgia is the third most affordable state for housing in the nation.

This is only a fact due to the small size of the city of Dunwoody. We all know Sandy Springs is a much more expensive, as well as a nicer city to live in.
Also, I wont even mention our (lack of) city management. I noticed the DHA touting earlier this week that 6 of the 7 candidates in our last city election were former members of the DHA. If we ever intend to have our city move forward, we need to reverse that statistic and recruit more open minded and mature individuals.
