Sneiderman Petitions to Loosen Bond Restrictions

Andrea Sneiderman, accused of being involved in killing her husband, was released with several restrictions on a $500,000 bond in August.

She was limited to her parents' home, she must wear an ankle bracelet and she had to surrender her passport.

On Friday, the court gave notice that Sneiderman will attempt to change those restrictions so that she can attend religiious services. 

Sneiderman will appear before Judge Gregory Adams for an oral argument at 5 p.m. Oct. 12 in regards to the bond restrictions.

Sneiderman is scheduled to be arraigned, where she has the oppportunity to plead guilty or not guilty, Oct. 8 at 8:30 a.m.

Sneiderman was arrested near Lake Oconee in an 8-count indictment in early August.

She is acussed of malice murder for conspiring with Hemy Neuman, her former boss at GE Energy who was convicted March 15 of shooting and killing her husband at Dunwoody Prep, a Dunwoody daycare.

Sneiderman was against Neuman after she made improper contact with a witness.

Prosecutors say that Sneiderman sought to kill her husband, Russell Sneiderman, because she sought $2 million in insurance money and $960,000 in marital assets.
