Same Sex Kiss Day at Nearby Chick-fil-A

A Same Sex Kiss Day is planned from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at the Chick-fil-A at 105 East Trinity Place in Decatur.
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has organized the National Same-Sex Kiss Day at Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country that day.
Gayborhood App and Carma Productions announced the Decatur event. An email said,
The event is open to all community members (gay or straight) who do not agree with Chick-fil-A's support of sites and organizations that believe only men and women constitute marriage.
The Same Sex Kiss Days are designed as a protest against statements by the Chick-fil-A president in support of traditional marriage and against same-sex marriage.
