Police Arrest Another Suspect in McDonald's Armed Robbery
A third suspect wanted in connection with the incident is still at large.
Dunwoody Police arrested a second man wanted in connection with the Jan. 7 armed robbery at a local McDonald's.
Dejaun Anthony Simmons, 19, was arrested early Wednesday evening, the department said on its Facebook page. A third suspect, not yet identified, is also wanted in connection with the incident.
College Park resident Carlin Caleb Tibbs, 19, was arrested on Jan. 11.
Police believe Tibbs was the driver of a dark sedan that pulled up to the restaurant's drive-through window around 4 am on Jan. 7. Two suspects ran up from a hiding location behind the building toward the service window.
"The first suspect pointed a dark colored pistol at the clerk," according to a Dunwoody police statement. "Both suspects jumped through the window into the store and took an undisclosed amount of cash."
Police say Simmons is a former Sandy Springs McDonald's employee.
