Park Construction and Seasonal Concert Series on Monday Council Agenda
During the regular meeting, Dunwoody City Council members will vote on a contract for Project Renaissance Park construction.
Mayor Mike Davis and City Council members will continue to discuss Dunwoody’s Ethics Code and a more efficient process for managing public complaints, during the 6 p.m. work session, Monday.
During the regular meeting at 7p.m., Council members will vote on a contract for Project Renaissance Park construction. Planned work on the 16-acre parcel includes a playground, central park square and linear park, and multi-use trails. According to the city, Georgia Development Partners was the lowest bidder for the work at $1,698,768.
The project is currently budgeted at $1.5 million.
A seasonal concert series is also on the regular meeting agenda. The series would run from June to mid-September at various sites. If approved, Dunwoody Homeowners Association will organize some concerts at Brook Run Park and the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce will present concerts at Perimeter Center, Dunwoody Village and other locations.
The City Council meeting is held at Dunwoody City Hall, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 103.
