Motorist Stopped Over the Weekend for Driving On Drugs
The driver was called into police as a reckless driver and police suspected it was not alcohol impairing the driver.
Dunwoody Police cleared the streets this weekend of a man that is suspected of driving under the influence of prescription drugs.
The incident occurred on at Chamblee Dunwoody Road and Vermack Place in regard to a report of a reckless driver, say police.
The person who called in the reckless driver to 911 also provided a license tag number to police.
Officers tracked down the weaving driver at Chamblee Dunwoody Road near I-285, where the driver committed some moving violations, say police.
Officers investigated the incident and determined the suspect was under the influence of prescription medication. The suspect was arrested for DUI-drugs.
