Four Cars Set Ablaze at Dunwoody Church

Spanish-speaking church has had other vandalism problems in the last several weeks.

Four cars were set on fire early Monday morning in the parking lot of Dunwoody's Iglesia Adventista, a Spanish speaking church on Peeler Road.

According to WSBTV.com, the cars were being hauled away by tow trucks late in the morning and DeKalb County arson investigators were looking into the case.

Dunwoody Police reports state that four cars were found burned after a someone reported a suspicious noise. around the 2100 block of Peeler Road. The vehicles were reported damaged by fire or completely burned, according to police reports.

WSBTV.com reported that officers responded to one vehicle fire at 2:30 a.m. and found three other cars in the parking lot burned before 5 a.m.

The report also said that church leaders had reported a string of car break-ins a few weeks ago, and that police have responded to reports of vandals hanging out in a church storage building.
