Dunwoody Police Collar Driver Wanted in Clayton County

A driver who was wanted in Clayton County was picked up by Dunwoody Police Friday.

 

A Dunwoody Police officer picked up a wanted person after a call that they were parked illegally in a neighborhood.

The incident occurred at around 3 p.m. Friday. Police responded to a resident's call about illegal parking at the main entrance to Dunwoody Ridge near Peachford Road.

The officer spotted the vehicle, made contact with the driver and the police officer noticed the driver was acting nervous.

That person was wanted in Clayton County for failure to appear in court and has a lengthy criminal history of drugs and being armed and dangerous.

Police say residents are encouraged to call 911 if they see something suspicous.
