Alright Duwnoody PD arrested Neuman in 6 weeks. Andrea was not a suspect at the time. You think someone screwed up?

More importantly, perhaps, she denied an affair, so how could police make that connection until it came out at trial?

But, maybe I watch too many crime procedurals - but isn't the spouse always the first focus.

Most importantly, she wasn't the gunman. She did not directly shoot anyone. I think that's getting lost in jumping on Dunwoody PD. They focused on a aman who actively killed someone.

Looks like Dunwoody PD is hiding their head in the sand on this one. They would receive a lot more respect if they would simply admit their error which is obvious.

careful, uncharted water here. No one dares publicly question our police department. What's next - questioning the moon landing? Aside from this major screw up by the local PD, I still think the chief needs to apologize for failing to reprimand the officer(s) who failed to find that 911 caller from the fatal fire. Had the police officer actually gotten out of his car and put forth some effort, that lady may be alive today. Instead Grogan pointed fingers elsewhere and no one dared call him out on it. Glad you are bringing out this issue in public jason.

I saw no less than four police officers assisting with the charity run today on Womack Road. officers were doing a good job. Now if we could get that same service at the elementary schools in the morning....... Chief can find time for officers to protect adult runners at a charity event and protect people picking pears and write tickets on 285 but no way does he have resources to park a car and have an officer on the street at schools

PD got the shooter and turned case over to DA, resulting in a conviction. Sounds like excellent police work to me. The trial flushed out more about Andrea. Good work by DA team. I don't know why people are making such a fuss. It's not like TV where everything is cleared up in an hour

From where I sit, the Dunwoody police only aggressively pursue 'crimes' that bring fines (money) to the City of Dunwoody (mostly traffic & DUI violations).

BTW, someone might want to proof this article. It has a lot of typos.

This past Sunday, the DPD arrested a woman for "Walking on 285" .. What ever happened to sending someone like this down the road rather than tying up three patrol cars for hours?

One things for sure this Andrea lady is clearly NUTS did anyone else feel like smacking her during the trial???
