Gayot.com lists the Dunwoody business as one of the top 10 wine bars in Atlanta.

If you enjoy a great glass of wine and sometimes desire a little guidance selecting the right bottle, here’s a little help. Bob Leavey, owner of d’Vine Wine Bar & Shop, in Dunwoody, has five recommendations. Gayot.com names d'Vine as one of the top 10 wine bars in Atlanta.

  • Chateau Roustan, 2011. A blend of roussane, grenache blanc and viognier. Leavey says, “It’s a really nice white, kind of smooth and silky.”  $8.95 per glass; $29 per bottle, served at d’Vine; $13 sold retail at the wine shop.
  • MacRostie Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, 2009. Leavey says, “It’s pretty well balanced – a little buttery, oaky but not overly so.” $10.95 per glass; $35 per bottle served at d’Vine; $19.99 sold retail at the wine shop.
  • Scarlet of Paris Pinot Noir, 2011. Leavey says, “It’s sort of a nice softer wine with raspberry cherries. It’s pretty smooth. $6.95 per glass; $29 per bottle, served at d’Vine; $10.99 sold retail at the wine shop.
  • Penche Cabernet Savignon, 2010. Leavey describes it as a very soft, elegant cabernet.  $12.95 per glass; $50 per bottle served at d’Vine; $35 retail at the wine shop.
  • Barrel Monkeys Shiraz, 2009. Leavey says, “I like it because it’s a little on the dry side; a nice fruit. It’s from a little cooler climate in Australia and not a big jammy shiraz. It’s sort of softer.” $10.95 per bottle; $35 per bottle, served at d’Vine; $19.99 sold retail at the wine shop.
