City Council Approves Ethics Moratorium

The 90-day moratorium is designed to give city leaders time to revise Dunwoody's ethics ordinances.

Dunwoody is rewriting its ethics ordinances.

According to the Reporter Newspapers, the city council approved a 90-day moratorium on ethics complaints while officials revise the ordinances.

The council approved the measure at its Jan. 14 meeting.

In early December, ethics charges against Councilwoman Adrian Bonser that she leaked priviliged information about a city property deal were dismissed.

After last year's controversy, the city council decided to look at Dunwoody's current ethics ordinances to determine if any revisions were needed.
