Dunwoody Cancels Ethics Hearing Because Councilwoman Wasn't Noticed
Councilwoman Adrian Bonser said didn't attend meeting she said she wasn't properly noticed about.
The city has postponed its ethics hearings because Councilwoman Adrian Bonser did not receive an official notice of the hearing and didn’t attend the meeting.
Bonser’s attorney said that Bonser hadn’t received notice of the meeting from the ethics board, its attorney or the hearing officer.
The meeting’s agenda indicated that a hearing would proceed ion accusations that Bonser leaked confidential information from a city executive session regarding Project Renaissance.
Bonser filed a counter complaint against Mayor Mike Davis, saying that he asked her to resign.
Davis attended Monday and started the proceedings.
Private mediation sessions have occurred to resolve the complaints.
The rescheduled meeting is 9 a.m. Dec. 12.

Jason,
That headline cracks me up - How could anyone not notice the lovely Dr. Bonsers' perfect smile?
As to the matter at hand, oh good grief!
Accidents happen, but this almost seems like somebody wanted to give the good Mayor and lovely Councilwoman a chance to play, "OK, let's issue a joint statement and put this one behind us."
C'mon, Mike and Adrian - Get off the Cross, we need the wood. Especially in the Village and Brook Run.
City needs to install a popcorn machine before 9AM, 12/12/12....

Send the bill for the popcorn to councilmember Bonser, since she's the one providing the entertainment.
