Chesnut Charter Hosts Gun Safety Discussion

The event is set for Tuesday night at 6 pm.

 


Chesnut Charter Elementary is hosting an event on Tuesday night entitled "How and Why to Talk to Your Children About Guns."

The event begins at 6 pm.

The event is described as a brief multimedia presentation that provides parents with specific talking points and pointers to educational resources they can use to discuss the topic for three different age groups - preschool to third grade, fourth to sixth grades, and seventh grade and up.

Correction: the full title of the presentation is "Why and How to Talk With Your Children About Guns (Even If You Don't Own Guns)".

This picture is of a small-medium caliber handgun with a loaded magazine. Why would the photographer place a large caliber bullet (standing in the middle) that could not be fired from this weapon?
