Andrea Sneiderman Being Sued for Wrongful Death

Dunwoody murder victim's brother brings a suit against Andrea Sneiderman for "participating" and "planning" her husband's death.

The brother of Dunwoody father Russell Sneiderman is suing his widow in a civil suit for wrongful death, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The newspaper reported that the suit was filed against Andrea Sneiderman Friday in Fulton County Court on behalf of Steve Sneiderman, Rusty Sneiderman's brother.

Andrea Sneiderman is accused in the civil filing of "actively and knowingly participat(ing) in the murder and the planning of the murder," according to the report.

The suit also names Hemy Neuman, Andrea Sneiderman's boss, who was convicted in March for the murder of Russell Sneiderman.

Since Neuman's conviction, the DeKalb District Attorney's Office has convened a grand jury, which subpoenaed Andrea Sneiderman's testimony in Neuman's trial. There has been no further news on any possible criminal charges.

Both the prosecution and defense showed evidence of an affair between Andrea Sneiderman and Neuman, which she denied in court.

During the trial, lawyers pointed out discrepancies in her version of events. She told Rusell Sneiderman's parents and a friend that she learned of the death before arriving at the hospital. She testified that she learned of the death when an emergency-room doctor told her.

No charges have been filed yet so many have condemned her. There is no proof. Give her the benefit of the doubt. She is now a widow with children to take care of.
