A Black Friday Guide for Dunwoody

A short list of Black Friday hours and deals at a few Dunwoody retailers

 

For shoppers dedicated enough to wake before sunrise Friday, grab coffee and head into the experience known as Black Friday, the

Wal-Mart will be starting its big sale at 5 a.m. The company has even produced maps for each store so shoppers can draw up game plans for where to head first.

Here's the map for the Ashford Dunwoody store's deals.

Big sale items at Wal-Mart include a 32-inch Emerson LCD HDTV, an eMachines Laptop for $198 and an iPod touch for $225 and a free $50 gift card.

Just down the road at Target, doors will open at 4 a.m. Here's a PDF map of the store's deals. Doorbusters there include a 40-inch Westinghouse LCD HDTV for $298, a PSP Holiday Bundle for $129 and a TomTom GPS with lifetime updates for $79.

Best Buy will also cater to early risers. Doors also open at 5 a.m. The electronics store has Nintendo Wiis going for $169.99, many Xbox, Wii and PS3 games going for $34.99 and a Nook Wi-Fi eReader for $99.99.

At Lola's Boutique, the savings start a little later. The store will have savings of 30 percent off from 10 a.m. to noon, 20 percent from noon to 2 p.m. and 10 percent off from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Dunwoody store is also offering shoppers a little respite from the Black Friday craze, offering customers wine while shopping.

The boutique store will also have a trunk show with jewelry from Stella & Dot from 10 a.m. to noon.

Perimeter Mall will open its doors at 7 a.m. Friday, and is offering a $10 Shop Etc. giftcard to those who spend $100 at the mall on Friday morning. Details here.

But anchor stores will be opening even earlier Friday.

Macy's opens its doors at 4 a.m. at Perimeter Mall. Specials listed here.

Sleeping in Black Friday? There will still be chances to find sale prices for the holidays. Cyber Monday – when sales start for online shoppers – is just around the corner.
